Heime Müller

Biography

Born in Hamburg, Germany, Heime Müller has been the first and second violinist of the Artemis Quartet for 16 years, performing around the world in the major concert halls and festivals. The Quartet had an exclusive recording contract with Virgin Classics and won major awards such as the Diapason d’Orand the Deutsche Schallplattenpreis.
Sought-after professor of violin and chamber music, he has taught at the University of Arts in Berlin and is currently professor at the Musikhochschule Lübeck. Moreover, he holds a professorship for String Quartet at the Escuela Superiorde Música Reina Sofía in Madrid.
Heime Müller frequently gives masterclasses all over Europe and is the artistic director of the International Chamber Music Campus of the Jeunesses Musicales in Germany.
