Atte Kilpeläinen studied at the Sibelius Academy and the Cologne University. Principal viola of the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, he has also served as guest principal viola and appeared as soloist with several European orchestras. M. Kilpeläinen has joined the Meta4 quartet in 2006 and since 2012, he is a faculty member of the Sibelius Academy.

Tomas Djupsjöbacka started his musical training at the age of three. In 1998, he won the second prize in the Turku National Cello Competition which led him to perform as a soloist with several European orchestras. A sought-after collaborator, M. Djupsjöbacka teaches chamber music at the Sibelius Academy. His principal teachers and mentors have been Martti Rousi, Marko Ylönen, and Ralf Gothóni Patrick Demenga.
