Senior Quartets are ensembles of a professional level that have already been selected in an International Competition (selection up to two years) or, who do have a professional equivalency.

MISQA will provide for round-trip transportation (from the quartet’s lieu of residence), lodging, per diem for subsistence plus tuition costs for all selected senior quartets.

Participation is subject to selection. Four senior quartets may be accepted per session.

Junior Quartets are young ensembles that are serious, dedicated and wish to attain a professional level.

Participation is subject to acceptance. Up to four junior quartets may be accepted per session.

MISQA will provide tuition costs for all selected junior quartets.
