John Largess began his viola studies in Boston with Michael Zaretsky to pursue his training with Michael Tree at the Curtis Institute of Music. In 1995, he graduated from Yale University to join the Colorado String Quartet and was appointed violist of the Miró Quartet in 1997. M. Largess is an active speaker and writer and currently on faculty at the University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music.
Born in Calgary, Canada, William Fedkenheuer graduated from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music where he studied with Kathleen Winkler and continued his graduate studies with Miriam Fried at Indiana University. M.Fedkenheuer has been a member of the Borromeo and Fry String Quartets and joined the Miró Quartet in 2011. M. Fedkenheuer is currently on faculty at the University of Texas at Austin Butler School of Music.
