A founding member of the Miami String Quartet, Keith Robinson has been active as a chamber musician, recitalist, and soloist since his graduation from the Curtis Institute of Music.
In 1988, the Miami Quartet won the grand prize at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition and went on to garner prizes at the Evian, London, and the Concert Artists Guild competition in New York. In 1989, Mr. Robinson won the P.A.C.E.”Classical Artist of the Year” award.
Mr. Robinson presently serves as an Artist-in-Residence at Kent State University and the Kent / Blossom Music Festival as well as visiting guest artist at the Hart School of Music. The Miami Quartet was recently appointed to the Chamber Music Program of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center in New York City.
