Born in Neubrandenburg, Mr. Fehlandt received his musical training at the Academy of Music “Hanns Eisler” in Berlin.
Founding member of the Vogler Quartet, Mr. Fehlandt has established himself among the most versatile chamber musicians. He regularly performs as soloists at festivals such as the Dresden Music Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Salzburg Festival. In addition to his extensive concert schedule with the Vogler quartet, Mr. Fehlandt has concertized with several artists including Boris Pergamenschikow, David Geringas, Daniel Müller-Schott, Isabelle Faust, Julia Fischer, Christian Tetzlaff, Antje Weithaas and Lars Vogt.
Mr. Fehlandt teaches viola and chamber music in Berlin and since 2007, he is professor at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart.
