Formed in 2003 at he Colburn School, the Amber Quartet has given numerous performances at Colburn, including the Brahms G Major Sextet with Martin Beaver and Clive Greensmith as part of the Colburn Chamber Music Series.
Other concerts include performances at the Laguna Beach and Sierra Madres Playhouses, as well as participating in community outreach concerts. This summer, the members of the Amber Quartet will be participants at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival and at MISQA in Montreal. The group’s principal teachers are Clive Greensmith, Martin Beaver, and Arnold Steinhardt.
