Formed in September 2021, the Ast Quartet has won 1st prize in the “Festival de Arte” competition and 2nd prize in the Detmold Auryn Quartet competition. It has also been awarded the Ernst von Siemens Music Scholarship and selected as scholarship recipients by Jeunesses Musicales in Germany and received an invitation to the Hohenlohe Cultural Summer of 2024.

Shortly after their formation, they performed concerts at the Berliner Philharmonie, the Japanese Osaka Chamber Music Horizon and the Mozart Festival of in Berlin. The quartet members have gathered many musical inspirations from Corina Belcea, William Coleman, Eberhard Feltz, Mikayel Hakhnazaryan, Heime Müller, Wolfgang Redik and Tabea Zimmermann through masterclasses.

Presently residing in Berlin, the Ast Quartet currently studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Hannover with Professor Oliver Wille.
