The Duchow String Quartet was formed in 2009 at the Schulich School of Music under the supervision of André J. Roy. Participants in the two first editions of MISQA and in the Toronto Music Festival, the quartet has also performed in master classes with Alfred Brendel and the Miro Quartet. Members of the quartet have participated in the London International String Quartet competition and the Fischoff National Competition. The Quartet takes its name from the Canadian composer Marvin Duchow.
