Winner of the 2013 Gasteig Competition, the Goldmund String Quartet was founded in 2009 at the youth academy of the Music Conservatory in Munich and are presently working with Hariolf Schlichtig and Gerhard Schulz.
They also participates regularly at masterclasses and such have worked with Stefan Arzberger, André J. Roy and Bernhard Schmidt. The Goldmund String Quartet gave their debut concert in the Prinzregententheater in Munich and since then, they regularly give concert throughout Germany. Since 2011 the Goldmund String Quartet is a scholar recipient of Yehudi Menuhin “ Live Music Now”. Their presence at MISQA is being sponsored by the Theodor-Rogler-Foundation.
