Winner of the 2nd prize at the Trondheim International Chamber Music and winner of the Tunnell Trust Award, the Idomeneo Quartet was formed in 2009 and held the Chamber Music Fellowship at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London under the guidance of Alasdair Tait before pursuing studies in Salzburg and Stuttgart.
The Idomeneo Quartet has held recitals in numerous concert venues all over Europe and extensively throughout the UK, and has given concert tours in Brazil and around Scotland and performed at numerous international festivals.
The quartet has also received guidance from such musicians as Rainer Schmidt, the Vogler Quartet, Bernard Greenhouse and Günter Pichler.
The Idomeneo will be playing in Pollack Hall on August 17 & 24 at 7PM
