Grand Prize winner of the 2013 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, the Omer Quartet was formed in 2009 and completed its studies as the Apprentice String Quartet at the Cleveland Institute of Music.
Named Quartet in Residence of the Cleveland Chamber music Society, the quartet also performed in concert series such as of the Fontana Chamber Arts Series and the Palm Beach Atlantic University guest artist series; most recently, as the fellowship ensemble of the La Jolla Music Society’s SummerFest, the ensemble has collaborated with Cho-Liang Lin and the Assad Brothers. Since its inception, the quartet has worked closely with the Cavani Quartet, Peter Salaff, Earl Carlyss, Mark Sternberg and Donald Weilerstein.
