Winner of the 2015 Concert Artists Guild Competition, the Verona Quartet has also won top prizes at numerous prestigious international competitions such as the Wigmore Hall String Quartet Competition, the Melbourne and the Osaka Chamber Music Competitions.The ensemble was also awarded the BMI Commissioning Prize, resulting in a brand new work by American composer Michael Gilbertson being premiered at the quartet’s Carnegie Hall debut in February 2017.
As Graduate Resident String Quartet at the Juilliard School of Music, the group has worked closely with member of the Juilliard String Quartet and also tough as Lisa Arnhold fellows.
The Quartet has collaborated with celebrated artists such as David Shifrin, Cho-Liang Lin and Jean-Michel Fonteneau and were previously mentored by the Pacifica Quartet, Alexander Kerr, Atar Arad and Eric Kim.
